Not sure why South River thinks the FOURTH of July should be held on July 2nd but I think something was lost in translation! Either way, on the 2nd, we went to Jessie's & Chuck's house (our friends/neighbors) to have a BBQ and watch the fireworks. Eva had a great time. She ate corn off the cob! 
And while all of the other children in South River were screaming and crying as a result of what I told her were "Boom Booms in the sky" she was shrieking with delight. Big fan of the fireworks!
